Eternal Plans — A Free End-of-Life Software Service for Families

My name is John Carter and I am one of the Co-Founders of Eternal Plans.

As a Principal Product Designer and Co-Founder of “Eternal Plans,” I am proud to introduce a revolutionary funeral and end-of-life planning service that serves both families and funeral homes.

The best part? It’s completely free!

The idea for Eternal Plans was born from a heartfelt desire to address the pain and challenges families face when planning funerals for their loved ones.

Recognizing that death and funeral planning are sensitive and often taboo topics in our culture, our team set out to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly platform that simplifies the process for families while supporting funeral homes.

Eternal Plans acts as a vital bridge between families and funeral homes, transforming the traditional logistical nightmare of funeral planning into a seamless, transparent, and comforting experience.

Families can utilize Eternal Plans from the comfort of their homes to create a detailed funeral plan while being able to share, and collaborate on their plan together. This funeral plan is then shared with three (3) local funeral homes in their geographic area of choice, ensuring that families have multiple options while maintaining complete transparency throughout the process.

The funeral homes come to families, not the other way around as it had been done traditionally.

Our free service not only benefits families but also empowers funeral homes to efficiently manage and respond to funeral planning requests.

Who does this product benefit?

  1.  Families Planning funerals: Families can plan a funeral from the comfort of their own homes and collaborate with other friends/family members before sending their plan to funeral homes in their area.

  2. Funeral Homes: Helping them streamline their operations and putting time back in their day to accomplish other tasks.

We aim to alleviate the burden of planning end-of-life services for families while providing Funeral Homes the insights they need up front, saving them time and enabling them to focus on other tasks
